Ø The AUD - Bharat Ratna Dr B.R. Ambedkar Vishwavidyalaya, Delhi (Ambedkar University, Delhi or AUD for short) was established by the Government of the NCT of Delhi through an Act of Legislature. The University began functioning in August 2008.

Ø Social Science Research Methods Festival - Ambedkar University Delhi has organized its first Social Science Research Methods Festival in partnership with ICSSR and Sage India in New Delhi from 11th to 31st December 2010.
Using a theoretically sound, interdisciplinary and hands-on approach, and was organized in the form of blocs, this residential festival presented a opportunity for young social science scholars to come together.
Ø The Participants and the Faculty – It was a heterogeneous group of people from different streams and areas and towards the end of the festival, we all felt need to keep in touch and develop a network.
